Hi! I’m Kay :)
I’m a UX designer born, raised, and based in the D.C. Metro area, but briefly absconded to LA to attend the University of Southern California. I graduated with a B.A. in Art History, and minors in Painting and Education.
My approach to problem-solving is rooted in curiosity and empathy; I enjoy tackling design challenges with that mindset to create intuitive experiences for users. I draw on my experience in education, art, and design principles to analyze the nuances of a user's interaction with a product or interface. This experience allows me to uncover insights that go beyond functionality, ensuring that every design decision resonates with users in a meaningful way.
Design is a living thing, and I enjoy learning more about it every day!
In my spare time, I enjoy reflecting on the designs of everyday items, reading R.F. Kuang, hiking, and drawing portraits. I also enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends— baking parties are a favorite! The best thing I’ve made to date— pumpkin shaped dinner rolls. 🎃
